Chapter 2: Here's A Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares!

The realm was swirling around him in a kaleidoscope of colors as there was the strange sound of a car's motor purring in the distance. Sudden images of cars and an blonde mechanic flashed across the priest's mismatched eyes.

"How curious...The kind of energy I need comes from controlling cars and their users? Does not seem very likely, but if this is what this realm needs for the kind of thing it needs to pull off for me.."

The mist-like kaleidoscope disappeared and he was yet again once again in his room of prayer. Palan smiled softly, as an slight humming noise filled the room. The very same monster that had survived the attack from Negaearth two days ago, appeared as he kneeled warily before him.

"What can I do for you, Master?" The monster asked, as he took a few steps back in case Palan had something painful in store for him. It was understandable. He had failed his master after all. The monster however, didn't really want that and had dreaded this moment when Palan would call upon him to come again.

"I am giving you a second chance to satisfy me with your work," Palan said much to the monster's surprise, "And this time.. I will have some much more powerful aides for you to command in case that girl should stop us again. However, I think it'll be unlikely as seeing we're not going after that beautiful horse creature this time."

The monster couldn't help but grin, showing his row of jagged teeth as he bowed.

"Thank you very much, Master!" The monster replied, "This time, I will make sure I will not fail you. What do I have to do?"

Palan smiled, as he handed the monster a scroll. "These are your instructions, and also something I have planned." He answered.

As the monster took the scroll and unrolled to read it, Palan held up a card to the light. The card was blank, but as the second passed some colors and shapes seemed to grow on it, turning into a image. And the image appeared to be a pair of feminine monsters, with wheels for feet and headlights for their chest.

The monster noticed the card, and asked: "What is that, master?"

Palan just shrugged as he answered: "Your new aides. By the way..."

"Yes, Master?"

"Before you go, you need to go and see a dentist to get those teeth of your fixed. They look awful and not to mention a disgrace to the realm!"

With that, a loud hysterical laugh could be heard from the many chambers of the realm--The laughter ringing in the ears of the confused monster who asked, "What's wrong with my teeth?"

From half a block away, Kawari, noticed a man with dark red hair press the button for the crosswalk. The lights changed, but the man didn't cross. This happened a few more times before she finished the rest of her meal and got up. Not one to leave her curiosity unchecked, Kawari strolled up beside him.

"What are you waiting for? The light has changed several times." she said with next to no patience in her voice.

"The crosswalk flasher." he said with a tone that was almost depressing.

"Say what?" Kawari said as she blinked a few times in surprise.

"Every time I press the button and the lights change, a mechanical voice says that the crosswalk flasher has been activated. But I haven't seen the flasher yet. Very disappointing, don't you agree?"

"Only to a lunatic...." Kawari muttered.

"I'm clinically insane, but everybody calls me Fuu. Who are you?"

"I'm out of here..." Kawari groaned and started crossing the street.

Fuu immediately began to follow her.

"Ah, but I know plenty about you, Miss Negaearth..." Fuu whispered in her ear.

That stopped Kawari cold right there in the cross walk.

"What did you say?" Kawari said with a scowl sprawled across her face.

Fuu laughed hysterically. "I knew that'd get your attention."

During that time the lights had changed and a blonde haired man in a red convertible Saturn blared his horn at the two pedestrians.

"Come on! Move it already!" the blonde yelled at them before honking again.

Kawari scowled at the blonde for a moment before turning her head towards where Fuu was standing, only to find that Fuu was no longer there. Caught off guard, Kawari shook her head then got into the empty passenger seat in the blonde's vehicle.

"What the hell?!" came his knee-jerk response.

"Drive now, ask questions later." Kawari hissed.

The blonde drove in complete silence until he pulled into the parking lot of a mechanic's repair shop.

"Look. I don't know you, nor do I think I want to know what the hell happened back there, but this is where you get out." the blonde glared at Kawari as he got out of the car.

"Fine by me!" Kawari coolly replied as she got out as well. After taking a few steps she paused and turned. "By the way. Thanks for the lift."

"Meh, no problem. What's your name anyway?" The blonde gruffly asked.

"Seikai Kawari. And you?" Kawari asked as she folded her arms across her chest.

"Airosutono Arashi." came his response.

Kawari nodded.

"Well, Arashi, nice to meet you I guess. Thanks again for getting me away from there. That guy was a total freak. But now I guess I'll just see you around or something..." With that Kawari turned around to exit.

Arashi stared at her exiting form, and replied, "See ya."

However Kawari didn't make quite an smooth exit, for somebody bumped right into her while he was entering Arashi's car shop.

Kawari scowled at the strange-looking guy and yelled, "Hey, watch where you're going!"

"Sorry!" The strange-looking guy muttered while cringing. He looked to be a very thin, lanky human with green hair and very bad teeth. His mis-matched clothing and odd demeanor made him seem all the more strange.

Kawari suddenly felt the creeps just looking at this odd guy, so she just left quickly, muttering to herself. Arashi looked up, and saw the guy.

"Great. Just what I need, another weirdo." he muttered under his breath.

But on the outer surface he was business as always. "Welcome to my mechanic repair shop. How can I help you?"

The odd human, said in an rather awkward manner, "Ah, yes, I was wondering if you could service me? Make me a nice car, yes? With all the works, yes?"

Arashi eyed the guy from head to toe, and noted the cheap-looking clothes that didn't even seem to be worn correctly. Shrugging he replied, "Sure, I can. But the question is, do you have the cash for it? Any credentials to show me that you're good for the money?"

The customer sighed. Playing a human was much harder than they made it out to be.

"Ah, to hell with it!" With that, he transformed into his true non-human form, summoning his new junk yard car-part wielding aides out of the tarot cards at the same time.

The energy output that the monster and his associates put out sent chills down Kawari and Arashi's backs.

"Kawari, transform! That mechanic's got a butt load of problems from the freak-a-zoid." Taiyou hissed from her position in the nearby bushes. "Keep an eye on him too...I have a weird feeling that he's important."

Kawari nodded once and after making sure that no one was in the immediate vicinity, she transformed. She then ran back to the mechanic repair shop and saw something that had made her remember the scene from a few days ago.

"Yo! Dipstick! Who told you that you could continue spreading your stench around on my planet?" Sailor Negaearth exclaimed as she stepped forward.

The monster groaned.

"You again...such a pain in the butt already! Get her!!" he exclaimed at his aides.

As the monster's aides lunged towards Sailor Negaearth, he turned to the mechanic.

"You're what I came for, anyway. So I'm not going to fail in my mission!"

With that he stepped towards Arashi, holding out his hands that seemed to glow. A lone howl caught the monster off guard just moments before Taiyuu body slammed into him, sending him careening towards the parking lot.

"World Sniper!" Negaearth called out sending a thorny rope towards the monster's aides to ensnare them.

"What the hell?" Arashi exclaimed at the scene before him.

"You..." came the throaty voice of Taiyuu as she circled Arashi a few times before stopping in front of him.

"Eh?" Arashi was now thoroughly confused.

"Guardian senshi of Earth's twin planet, Venus...You must transform now to help Sailor Negaearth." Taiyuu exclaimed.

"Hell no! This is a trick or something..." Arashi said just moments before the monster's aides crash landed into Arashi's car leaving several sizable dents and a few scratches. At that, his eyes grew wide as an orange aura flared all around his body. A blue glow came from one of his pockets. He then withdrew the glowing object, a ring the size of which would be called 'class ring' sized. "Venus Magellan Power, Make Up!"

The transformation was brief and it didn't take very long for both Sailor Negaearth and the monsters to realize that there was a new warrior on the scene.

"What?! Another one? Shit, this is not my day..." The monster groaned. "Just my luck that my target turns out to be a sailor warrior!"

"Damn straight. Nobody but NOBODY dings my car and lives to tell about it." came Sailor Negavenus's heated remark. "Handsome sailor suited soldier of tough love, Sailor Negavenus. Man, what wouldn't you give to be in my shoes now, eh?"

"Like the circle of life, I am the infinite sailor suited soldier, Sailor Negaearth. Hell hath no fury when I'm scorned."

"This really isn't my day..." the monster sighed before grinning a crooked smile. "But we still have you outnumbered three to two. Get 'em!"

The monster's aides morphed into twisted versions of vehicles, surprisingly twice the size than they had originally been. There was a roar of loud motors as the aides rushed towards the sailor soldiers, attempting to run them over.

"Quasar Vibration!" Negavenus called out an attack.

"Thorn Wind!" Negaearth said at the same time.

Combined, a red-orange energy ball swirled around wind propelled thorns headed straight at the monster's aides. The impact from the combined attacks caused the aides' tires to become flat. They were both knocked out on their backs and quite literally spinning their wheels in the air. Dark smoke rose out of their bodies, looking something like akin to an car wreck. The monster gasped.

"What? This is not good." He nervously backed away and then all at once used the remaining energy he had to transport back to the safety of his master's realm.

The aides weakly got up, feebly crying out, "Hey, don't leave us!"

"Oh, I won't leave you..." Negavenus growled dangerously. "At least not in one piece anyway."

After cracking his knuckles, Negavenus powered up to attack again. Negaearth however decided to stay in the background.

"How come you're not attacking?" Taiyuu asked above a whisper.

"If someone decimated something extremely close to you and you just found out that you had supernatural powers...would you want help? Or vengeance?" Negaearth explained coolly.

"Point taken." Taiyuu replied as she sat down.

"Comet Beam!" Negavenus called out.

A comet shaped energy beam fueled by Negavenus' anger demolished the aides. All that was left were a couple of oil stains where they had stood.

"Besides, the odds were in his favor." Negaearth said to the wolf as if she expected him to have done what he did.

Once that was done with, Negavenus went over to a mirror inside his car shop, and gave his reflection the once over. Negaearth and Taiyuu followed him inside, to see him obviously wondering about his new found powers.

"I don't know what the hell just happened..." He said, as a grin grew on his face, "But I think I like it."

Within Palan's realm, lightening flashed amongst multi-colored storm clouds.

"You fool! You actually came crawling back after you utterly failed once again? And thanks to you, there's a new sailor warrior on the scene!" Palan screamed at the cowering monster.

He then summoned lightening bolts to strike the monster. The monster screamed as the lightening jolted through its body before turning into a pile ashes. Palan suddenly grew calm, rummaging in a hidden pocket.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to give you this..." He then pulled out the address for an dentist's office. "This dentist has done terrific job on my teeth, I think you'd like him."

He then looked at the monster's ashes.

"Oh." He simply said, as he realized what he had done. "I guess it's a little too late for that..."

He then laughed hysterically as he left the room.
